SUSTAINABILITY AS A BUSINESS MODEL

COMERCIAL E INDUSTRIAL GARCIA SANCHEZ SA has received a grant of €13,562.64 from the European Union under the NextGenerationEU Fund, as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, for the implementation of a 49.68 kWp photovoltaic solar installation placed on the roof of a building located in the town of Huecas, Toledo. This is part of the incentives program related to self-consumption and storage, using renewable energy sources, as well as the deployment of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector, under the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. The grant is administered by the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha and by the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving.

Beneficiary company of subsidies from the Government of Castilla-La Mancha: Grants – Forward Investment – aimed at promoting investment and improving business productivity. Project incentivized with a grant co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Project objective: Incorporation of a new mechanized soaking process into its production system, which will consist of two tanks with an octopus crane, an inclined conveyor sieve for water recirculation, its corresponding drainage installation, and also a solid mixer, with the aim of substantially improving plant production by increasing the number of units produced, as well as the quality of the final product. Therefore, with the development of the project, Comercial e Industrial Garcia Sánchez, S.A. will achieve a more competitive business fabric.
